Salary Range: $60,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop CMM programs for dimensional inspection using CAD models and blueprints.
• Select appropriate CMM probes, fixtures, and measurement strategies for various parts.
• Perform first article inspections (FAI) and in-process quality checks using CMM equipment.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing CMM programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and manufacturing tolerances.
• Document inspection results, create reports, and maintain CMM program libraries.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize part quality and CMM inspection processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in inspection.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Experience with various CMM hardware platforms and probe systems.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug CMM programs.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies.
