Salary Range: $46,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
• Set up and program EDM machines for various manufacturing tasks.
• Monitor EDM processes to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM machinery.
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine EDM operational requirements.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
• Document operational parameters, maintenance activities, and production output.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience operating EDM machinery in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
• Basic computer skills for machine interface and data entry

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotic welding systems
• Knowledge of various metal fabrication techniques (e.g., bending, forming, cutting)
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• Ability to perform basic maintenance on EDM machinery
