Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Charlotte that are seeking skilled Fabrication Leads. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor fabrication team, fostering skill development and adherence to safety protocols.
• Plan, schedule, and assign fabrication tasks to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of fabrication equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide fabrication processes.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure fabricated components meet design specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize fabrication processes and resolve technical issues.
• Manage material inventory for fabrication, ensuring availability and minimizing waste.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication, including welding, cutting, and forming.
• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising, mentoring, and training a team of fabricators.
• Expertise in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) and familiarity with different material types (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel).
• Demonstrated understanding of safety protocols and quality control procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears, saws, and grinders.
