Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Otsego that are seeking Fabrication Leads. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee fabrication team activities to ensure on-time project completion.
• Train and mentor junior fabricators on best practices, safety, and equipment operation.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide fabrication processes.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure product standards are met.
• Manage material inventory, order supplies, and maintain equipment to optimize workflow.
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and implement corrective actions to minimize delays.
• Lead daily team meetings to discuss progress, assign tasks, and address challenges.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Strong knowledge of various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, STICK) and metal forming processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and train a team of skilled fabricators.
• Experience with quality control procedures and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues.
