Operations Manager | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $103,000 - $150,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity and quality.
• Manage and mentor a team of production supervisors and line workers.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics to ensure timely material flow and product delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards across all operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize production processes, including capacity planning and inventory control
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on developing direct reports
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of driving data-driven decisions

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software beyond basic usage.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and implement digital transformation initiatives within operations.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP).
