Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Oversee regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories, investigating and resolving variances.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehousing to ensure a smooth flow of materials.
  • Manage and maintain the accuracy of the inventory management system (ERP/WMS).
  • Implement strategies to reduce excess and obsolete inventory, minimizing carrying costs.
  • Lead and mentor a team of inventory control specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including forecasting, demand planning, and optimization techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, specifically SAP or Oracle.
  • Certification in Inventory Management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP).
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and manage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
