Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement materials management strategies.
• Oversee inventory control and optimization.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Lead and mentor the materials team.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production to optimize material flow.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field (e.g., Engineering, Materials Science).
• 5+ years of experience in materials management, inventory control, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) for planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application to materials flow and inventory optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle for materials management and supply chain functions.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
• Project management experience, particularly in process improvement or new product introduction.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) for inventory optimization and supplier performance.
