Salary Range: $84,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement materials management strategies.
• Oversee inventory control and optimization.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Lead procurement and sourcing activities.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective material availability.
• Drive continuous improvement in material flow and processes.
• Collaborate with production and planning teams.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in materials management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of implementing and optimizing inventory control systems (e.g., MRP, ERP)
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application to materials flow
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of materials professionals
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
• Proficiency in advanced planning and scheduling (APS) systems or enterprise resource planning (ERP) modules specific to materials management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) or project management (e.g., PMP).
• Experience with global sourcing and international logistics.
