Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Allegan seeking Industrial Electricians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical systems and components, including motors, PLC's, and control panels.
• Performs preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Interprets electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
• Conducts routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
• Collaborates with engineers and other technicians to implement new electrical systems and optimize existing ones.
• Adheres to all safety regulations and company policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Responds to emergency breakdowns and performs urgent repairs to restore production.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, including PLCs and HMIs.
• Experience with VFDs, motor controls, and power distribution systems up to 480V.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E safety regulations and practices.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotics and automated manufacturing systems.
• PLC programming proficiency (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000).
• Arc Flash training and experience implementing safety protocols.
• Thermography certification for predictive maintenance.
