Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IATF 16949 compliant quality management systems.
• Lead internal and external audits to ensure adherence to IATF 16949 standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using core tools like APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• Manage customer specific requirements and ensure their integration into quality processes.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing robust root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Provide training and support to manufacturing personnel on IATF 16949 principles and quality tools.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and drive actions for improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with IATF 16949 standards and core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Proven ability to lead and conduct internal and external audits.
• Demonstrated experience in problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with AIAG core tools beyond APQP (e.g., FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP).
• Black Belt or Green Belt Six Sigma certification.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
• Fluency in a second language relevant to global manufacturing (e.g., Spanish, German, Mandarin).
• Familiarity with other quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
