Salary Range: $82,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Leads internal and external IATF 16949 audits and drives closure of non-conformances.
• Develops and implements APQP deliverables including Control Plans, PFMEAs, and PPAP submissions.
• Analyzes manufacturing processes for compliance to IATF 16949 standards and customer-specific requirements.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams on root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Manages and maintains the organization's quality management system documentation.
• Provides training and guidance on IATF 16949 principles and quality tools to manufacturing personnel.
• Monitors key quality performance indicators and implements continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in IATF 16949 standards and their practical application.
• Proficient in core quality tools such as PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and MSA
• Certified Lead Auditor (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001)
• Proficient in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa)
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
