Salary Range: $79,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain IATF 16949 compliant quality management systems.
• Lead and facilitate internal and external IATF 16949 audits, including customer specific requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using core tools like APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and non-conformances, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (8D methodology).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development and launch to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Monitor and analyze key quality performance indicators, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide training and guidance to manufacturing personnel on quality standards and procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in IATF 16949 standards and their practical application.
• Strong knowledge of core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
• Certified Internal Auditor for IATF 16949 is highly preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• Experience with AIAG Core Tools training delivery
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with product launch processes (APQP, PPAP)
