Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
• Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and equipment to improve efficiency and quality.
• Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality, and production, to ensure successful product launches.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Perform time studies and process capability analyses to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a process improvement or industrial engineering role.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen) and their application.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze manufacturing processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and optimizing manufacturing layouts and fixtures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use data-driven approaches to make informed decisions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software for fixture and tool design.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and their application in manufacturing operations.
• Strong data analysis skills, including experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Project management experience, particularly in leading cross-functional teams.
