Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across East Lansing seeking Manufacturing Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, flowcharts, and control plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis of manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality, and production, to optimize product design and manufacturability.
• Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and analyzing manufacturing layouts and tooling.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and experience implementing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) to monitor and improve manufacturing performance.
