Maintenance Manager | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Delta Township seeking Maintenance Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
• Manage and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
• Oversee the repair and troubleshooting of complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Manage the maintenance budget, including spare parts inventory and external service contracts.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to maintenance operations.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency and reduce downtime.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing environment
• Proven expertise in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) implementation and optimization
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-craft teams and complex maintenance projects
• Relevant certifications such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional)

Bonus Qualifications

• CMMS Administrator certification or advanced experience
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography)
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD software for plant layouts and modifications
