Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Kalamazoo seeking Inventory Control Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
• Oversee the accurate tracking and reconciliation of inventory through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend improvements to inventory management strategies.
• Manage the timely investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless material flow and inventory accuracy.
• Lead and mentor a team of inventory control specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for inventory management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize inventory control processes and procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with automation technologies in inventory management.
