Salary Range: $99,000 - $146,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and security of critical operational technology (OT) systems.
• Manage the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cybersecurity for manufacturing facilities.
• Lead the implementation and support of manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions.
• Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and data security standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify technology needs and deliver solutions that improve efficiency and productivity.
• Manage IT vendor relationships and contracts for hardware, software, and support services.
• Oversee the IT budget and resource allocation for manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) and their integration with manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and their application to OT/IT convergence in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Experience with industrial automation technologies (e.g., SCADA, MES, PLCs) and their integration with IT infrastructure.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in a manufacturing context.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices relevant to industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT).
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their application to IT processes.
• Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or specific vendor certifications relevant to manufacturing software/hardware.
• Experience managing IT for a multi-site manufacturing operation.
