Salary Range: $102,000 - $149,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Coopersville that are seeking Operations Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize processes.
• Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and identify areas for financial improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production supervisors and manufacturing personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean or Six Sigma, to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics to ensure timely material flow and product delivery.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of improving operational efficiency, cost reduction, and quality metrics.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement tools.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing and developing production teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation or optimization.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
