HR Manager | Norton Shores, MI
Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Norton Shores that are seeking skilled HR Managers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with manufacturing operations.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles.
- Administer employee compensation, benefits, and performance management programs.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
- Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Facilitate training and development programs to enhance workforce skills and productivity.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state labor laws and HR best practices relevant to manufacturing.
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management in a production setting.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems commonly used in manufacturing organizations.
Bonus Qualifications
- SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Familiarity with HRIS implementation and optimization
- Proven track record of developing and delivering training programs for a manufacturing workforce
