HR Generalist | Kalamazoo, MI
Salary Range: $58,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Manages full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Administers benefits programs and assists employees with related inquiries.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.
- Supports recruitment efforts by assisting with job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
- Maintains accurate HR records and employee data in the HRIS.
- Addresses employee relations issues and provides guidance on workplace policies and procedures.
- Conducts HR-related training sessions for employees and management.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state labor laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA).
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced setting.
