Salary Range: $41,000 - $64,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies against specifications and purchase orders.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Document inspection results accurately, including acceptance, rejection, and any deviations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and quality standards.
• Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for rejected materials and escalate issues to relevant departments.
• Segregate and label accepted and non-conforming materials appropriately.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment according to established schedules.

Recommended Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with quality inspection processes, sampling plans (e.g., AQL), and non-conformance reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document findings.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience operating or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs)
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for material tracking and quality data entry
• Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• ASQ certification (e.g., CQT, CQI)
