Key Responsibilities

• Operate and program advanced CNC and manual machining equipment for complex parts.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior machinists.
• Oversee daily machining operations, including job assignments and workflow management.
• Perform rigorous quality control inspections to ensure parts meet precise specifications and tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex machining issues, machine malfunctions, and program errors.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and designs.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive experience with CNC and manual machining operations, including set-up, programming, and operation.
• Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring, training, and supervising a team of machinists.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and performing quality control inspections to ensure part accuracy.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for machining processes, equipment, and material issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in advanced CAD/CAM software for design and simulation.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Background in tooling design and optimization.
• Certifications in specialized machining techniques (e.g., 5-axis, EDM) or advanced metrology.
