Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the manufacturing introduction of new products from design release through to mass production.
- Develop, optimize, and document robust manufacturing processes, work instructions, and process flows for new products.
- Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Specify, procure, and validate new production equipment, fixtures, and tooling required for NPI.
- Oversee and analyze pilot production runs, identifying and resolving manufacturing issues to improve yield and quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis during the NPI phase to ensure a smooth production ramp-up.
- Provide training and support to production personnel on new product assembly processes and equipment operation.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or Manufacturing Engineering roles within a production environment.
- Strong understanding and application of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects from design transfer to mass production.
- Proficiency in manufacturing process development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification
- Experience with advanced manufacturing simulation tools (e.g., FEA, CFD)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab) or scripting languages (e.g., Python, R)
- International manufacturing or supplier collaboration experience
