Salary Range: $51,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and supervise shipping and receiving team members, providing guidance and feedback.
• Coordinate with production, inventory, and logistics departments to ensure timely material flow.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, discrepancies, and proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including receiving, put-away, and shipping transactions.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and best practices within the shipping and receiving area.
• Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation for outgoing shipments.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a shipping and receiving role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with shipping software, carrier portals, and freight documentation.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and provide training.
• Proficiency in using material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Fishbowl)
• - Forklift certification
• - Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
• - Basic understanding of customs regulations for international shipments
• - Strong problem-solving skills for resolving shipping discrepancies
