Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of finishing department personnel.
• Ensure all finished products meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion and delivery of finished goods.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies within the finishing area.
• Optimize finishing processes for efficiency, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct training and performance evaluations for finishing operators.
• Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of finishing equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing finishing operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong technical knowledge of various finishing processes, equipment, and quality control methodologies.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, including training, motivation, and performance management.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain quality assurance standards and continuous improvement practices (e.g., Lean, 5S).
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to address production challenges efficiently.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and compliance requirements.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with ERP or MES systems for production tracking and data analysis.
• ASQ certification (e.g., CQIA, CQT) or strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Demonstrated experience in tooling or fixture design for assembly optimization.
