Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for new products and changes.
• Drive complex root cause analysis (8D methodology) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) plans and conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to integrate quality requirements (DFM/DFA) and establish robust quality gates.
• Conduct internal and external quality system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship on quality tools and methodologies to manufacturing personnel and junior engineers.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
• Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys) and corrective action implementation.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality management systems.
• ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CSSBB) is highly preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) or Lean Master certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., JMP, Minitab, R, Python) for complex data analysis and modeling.
• Experience with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodologies and advanced reliability engineering principles.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 quality concepts and digital manufacturing solutions within a manufacturing environment.
