Salary Range: $77,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical malfunctions on production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from scope definition to commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards, codes (e.g., NFPA 70E), and regulatory requirements.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new equipment integration, upgrades, and process optimization.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for electrical infrastructure and controls.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, motor control, and power distribution.
• Demonstrated experience in electrical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventative maintenance.
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA) and machine safety principles.
• Ability to design and implement electrical systems for new equipment or process upgrades.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with SCADA/MES systems for plant-level data acquisition and control.
• Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet).
• Experience with robotics or automated material handling systems.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience.
