Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test embedded hardware and firmware for manufacturing automation and control systems.
- Integrate embedded systems with existing production machinery and IoT platforms to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement real-time control algorithms for robotic systems and automated assembly lines.
- Troubleshoot and debug embedded software and hardware issues on the factory floor, ensuring minimal production downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications for new manufacturing processes.
- Perform validation and verification of embedded systems to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Optimize embedded code and hardware designs for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in high-volume production environments.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded firmware development on microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M).
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and bare-metal programming.
- Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design, schematics, and hardware debugging techniques.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Modbus, EtherCAT) and sensor/actuator integration.
- Knowledge of design for testability (DFT) and manufacturing (DFM) principles for production environments.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, OPC UA)
- Familiarity with PLC programming or integration with industrial control systems
- Experience in designing or implementing automated test fixtures for production environments
- Understanding of hardware design principles and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) best practices
