Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine calibrations on various measurement and test equipment.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair instruments that are out of tolerance.
• Maintain accurate and detailed calibration records and documentation.
• Manage and prioritize the calibration schedule to ensure timely completion.
• Utilize calibration software and systems for data entry and report generation.
• Adhere strictly to calibration procedures, quality standards (e.g., ISO, GMP), and safety regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Metrology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical field, or equivalent military/industrial experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience performing calibrations on a variety of measurement and test equipment.
• Solid understanding of metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, and relevant calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540).
• Proficiency with calibration software, precision measurement tools, and general test equipment.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate record-keeping, documentation, and data analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific calibration software platforms (e.g., Beamex, Fluke Met/Cal)
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or ISO/IEC 17025 quality standards
• Basic programming or scripting skills for test automation
• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace)
• Ability to perform minor repairs or adjustments to test equipment
