Salary Range: $58,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of fabricators in daily production activities.
  • Ensure all fabricated parts meet quality standards and engineering specifications.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate fabrication workflow to meet production deadlines.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to fabrication team members.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and maintain fabrication equipment, reporting maintenance needs promptly.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on fabrication experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Expertise in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
  • In-depth knowledge of various fabrication techniques (e.g., welding, cutting, forming) and material properties.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a team to achieve production targets and quality standards.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Welding certifications (e.g., CWI) or expertise in specialized welding techniques.
  • Formal mentorship or training experience within a manufacturing environment.
