Maintenance Technician | Fremont, MI

Salary Range: $52,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Execute emergency repairs to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
• Install, test, and commission new manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for all work performed.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems (up to 480V) and PLCs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission.
• Demonstrated experience with preventative and corrective maintenance procedures on manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Adherence to all safety regulations and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC programming or modification experience
• Welding and fabrication skills (MIG, TIG, Stick)
• Experience with CMMS software (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo)
• HVAC-R certification or extensive experience
• Machining skills (lathe, mill operation)
