Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for raw materials, components, and MRO supplies.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and compliance to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with production and planning departments to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including material shortages and price volatility.
• Lead and mentor the purchasing team, fostering professional development and high performance.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers and cost-reduction opportunities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction strategies.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a purchasing team effectively.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for spend analysis.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with international sourcing and import/export regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in a major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or e-procurement platform (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa).
