Salary Range: $41,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and install tooling, fixtures, and materials for production runs.
• Perform precise machine adjustments, calibrations, and parameter settings.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and obtain quality approvals to ensure production readiness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues, machine malfunctions, or quality deviations.
• Document setup procedures, machine settings, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment around machinery.
• Collaborate with production operators, quality control, and engineering to optimize processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using hand and power tools for adjustments and repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting or basic programming.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for interpreting designs or machine programs.
• Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
• Experience contributing to preventative maintenance programs.
