Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for production, skilled trades, and administrative roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, performance management, and employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Administer HR programs such as compensation, benefits, leave management, and workers' compensation, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Oversee all aspects of HR compliance, including OSHA regulations, labor laws, and internal policies, conducting audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and deliver HR-related training programs, focusing on safety, compliance, leadership development for supervisors, and new employee onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and data within the HRIS, generating reports and analyzing HR metrics to support operational objectives.
  • Champion a positive and safe work environment by promoting employee engagement initiatives and actively participating in safety committee meetings.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, with a strong preference for manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Solid understanding of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, OSHA) and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, and performance management for a diverse workforce.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with all levels of staff in a plant setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish)
  • Exposure to labor relations or union environments
  • Familiarity with manufacturing operations or Lean principles
  • Experience with Kronos or similar timekeeping systems
