Salary Range: $44,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code.
• Perform quality control checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments as needed.
• Load and unload parts, ensuring proper fixturing and material handling.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges) for quality control.
• Strong understanding of cutting tools, inserts, and workholding principles.
• Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot common issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360).
• Proficiency with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparator).
• Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives.
