Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, and part quality.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from machines.
• Adjust machine parameters (e.g., feed rates, speeds, tool offsets) to optimize production.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges) for quality inspection.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and various material properties.
• Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot common operational issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks).
• Experience operating and programming multiple CNC machine types or control systems.
• Familiarity with CMM or other advanced metrology equipment.
• Experience with fixture design and building.
