Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code to produce parts.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring tools.
• Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
• Load and unload materials and parts, ensuring proper fixturing and tooling.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine alarms or production issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, schematics, and GD&T.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality control.
• Ability to perform G-code and M-code editing for machine adjustments and optimization.
• Strong understanding of tooling selection, feeds, speeds, and various material properties.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM)
• Experience operating advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparator)
• Demonstrated experience with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles
• Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting capabilities
