EHS Manager | Hudsonville, MI

Salary Range: $82,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Ensure facility compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Manage and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Oversee hazardous waste management, air emissions, wastewater discharge, and other environmental compliance activities.
• Lead emergency preparedness planning, drills, and response efforts.
• Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance metrics and foster a strong safety culture.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5-7+ years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local EHS regulations specific to manufacturing.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist).

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
• Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations and implementation
• Demonstrated experience managing EHS programs across multiple manufacturing sites
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
