Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Otsego that are seeking skilled Production Leads. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Lead and mentor a team of production operators, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing or workflow as needed to meet targets.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and production line issues.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, supply chain) to optimize production.
• Train new employees on production processes and equipment operation.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve production targets and quality standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and other production management software.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and quality assurance standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies or similar continuous improvement frameworks.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production planning and inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.
• Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish.
