Production Manager | Montague, MI

Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Montague that are seeking Production Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand and delivery targets.
• Manage and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Optimize resource allocation, including labor, equipment, and materials.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and resolve issues.
• Drive initiatives for process improvement and cost reduction.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of improving production efficiency, quality, and safety metrics.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab)
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
• Bilingual in Spanish or another relevant language
