Salary Range: $73,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Allegan that are seeking Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis of non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) to monitor and improve product quality.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability and quality standards are met.
• Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities, including FMEAs and control plans.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software.
• ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CSSGB, CSQP).
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Tableau).
• Experience with ISO 9001 audits and quality management systems.
