Salary Range: $77,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost and quality.
• Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
• Oversee inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials while minimizing carrying costs.
• Lead and mentor a team of purchasing professionals, fostering their growth and performance.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to forecast material needs and support new product development.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity of operations.
• Analyze market trends and commodity prices to make informed purchasing decisions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of negotiating favorable terms with suppliers and achieving cost savings
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and procurement software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) are a plus
