Salary Range: $84,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation, contract negotiation, and issue resolution.
• Oversee the procurement of raw materials, components, and MRO items to support production schedules.
• Lead and mentor a team of purchasing professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring departmental efficiency.
• Analyze market trends and collaborate with engineering and production to identify potential cost savings and new material opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical purchasing practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of cost reduction and supplier relationship management
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and purchasing software
• ISM CPSM certification preferred
