Salary Range: $52,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for manufactured products.
• Analyze customer specifications and technical drawings to determine material and labor costs.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and production teams to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems and quoting software to generate pricing.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure orders.
• Maintain and update pricing databases and costing models.
• Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities and alternative solutions.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a quoting or estimating role within manufacturing.
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly).
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and quoting software.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills for cost calculation and margin analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles
• Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin)
• Certification in a relevant field (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM)
