Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in East Lansing that are seeking skilled Recruiters. Key Responsibilities

• Drive full-cycle recruitment for a diverse range of manufacturing roles, from shop floor to management.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand departmental needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
• Source passive and active candidates using various methods, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
• Conduct thorough candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Manage the offer process, including salary negotiations and background checks.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Participate in employer branding initiatives and career fairs to attract top talent.
• Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, with a focus on manufacturing or industrial roles.
• Proven ability to source and attract qualified candidates for a variety of skilled trades, engineering, and production positions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, terminology, and relevant industry certifications.
• Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards).
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with a variety of HRIS and ATS platforms specific to manufacturing (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, iCIMS, ADP Workforce Now)
• Familiarity with OFCCP compliance and affirmative action plans as they relate to manufacturing recruitment
• Proven ability to leverage social media and professional networking platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter) for passive candidate sourcing in technical fields
• Understanding of manufacturing-specific certifications and licensing requirements (e.g., OSHA, ISO, Lean Six Sigma)
• Prior experience working with third-party agencies or contingent workforce solutions in a manufacturing environment
