Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Hart seeking Quoting Specialists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for customers based on specifications.
• Review customer RFQs and blueprints to understand project requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors and customers to secure profitable orders.
• Maintain and update quoting tools and databases with current pricing and product information.
• Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitive quoting strategies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a quoting or estimating role within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost drivers (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly).
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and quoting software.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculation.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for vendor and customer interactions.
