Salary Range: $58,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Plainwell that are seeking Quoting Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for manufactured products.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements to determine material and labor costs.
• Utilize ERP systems and quoting software to generate detailed proposals.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure orders.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of quotes, pricing, and customer interactions.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement in the quoting process.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a quoting or estimating role within manufacturing.
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for accurate cost calculations.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and customers.
