Salary Range: $60,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration on robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robots.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings.
• Install and configure new robotic cells and peripheral equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize robot performance and implement improvements.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Train production staff on basic robot operation and safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in robotics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB, Universal Robots).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, and industrial control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to perform precision mechanical and electrical assembly.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for inspection and guidance.
• Familiarity with a variety of robot programming languages beyond teach pendant (e.g., Python, C++).
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) for integrating robotic workcells.
• Certifications in specific robot platforms (e.g., FANUC CERT, KUKA College).
• Experience with collaborative robots (cobots) and their safety considerations.
