Salary Range: $62,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Battle Creek that are seeking Robotics Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in industrial robots.
• Install and configure new robotic equipment and peripheral devices.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal robot performance and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize robot programming and improve manufacturing processes.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in robotics, mechatronics, electronics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial robotics maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC logic.
• Demonstrated ability to program, teach, and calibrate industrial robotic arms (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB, Yaskawa).
• Strong understanding of robotic safety standards and protocols.
• Experience with various sensor technologies, vision systems, and end-of-arm tooling.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence)
• Familiarity with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) for robotic integration
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards relevant to robotics (e.g., ISO 10218, RIA TR R15.06)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Experience with collaborative robots (cobots) and human-robot interaction safety
