Salary Range: $87,000 - $133,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Traverse City seeking Six Sigma Black Belts who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex Six Sigma Black Belt projects from inception to completion, delivering significant cost savings and process improvements.
• Mentor and coach Green Belts and other team members in Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Utilize advanced statistical analysis to identify root causes of manufacturing defects, inefficiencies, and variations.
• Develop and implement sustainable control plans to maintain process improvements and prevent recurrence of issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality, to drive process optimization initiatives.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) or other advanced automation technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior Belt levels (Green Belts, Yellow Belts).
• Experience applying Six Sigma principles to supply chain optimization or logistics.
• Certification or experience in related methodologies like Lean, Agile, or Theory of Constraints.
• Proficiency with simulation software or advanced statistical modeling tools.
